- Avoid alcohol 24-48 hours before.
- Arrive with a clean, washed face.
- If you have a history of cold sores, start your anti-viral medication 3 days prior to your injection.
- If you have a special event or vacation, schedule at least 2 weeks in advance
After your Sculptra treatment, follow these important post-treatment care instructions:
- Massage the treated area for 5 minutes, 5 times per day for 5 days.
- Apply ice or a cloth-wrapped ice pack to the treated area within the first 24 hours to reduce swelling.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, sun exposure, UV lamps, and extreme temperatures for the first 24 hours.
